Ink Circles

 

This sampler was inspired by the Ukrainian art of pysanky, where beeswax is applied with a fine stylus and multiple layers of dyeing transform a simple egg into a work of art. The chart includes directions to make a biscornu and a scissor case with individual motifs.  The chart also provides two color ways, Pinks (as shown) and the more traditional Rainbow.
